Sharing Presents

Our festive Maths tuition sessions continue...

This week we explored dividing by two through the context of present sharing.

We discussed whether we could share a remaining present between two people.

With our younger pupils we encourage drawing the context to develop understanding of the real life problem; some presents just cannot be halved!
